Prior to founding Metric RE in 2019, Daniel worked internationally for JLL and for 10 years at Strutt & Parker. He led Strutt & Parker’s Occupier Services Team which included responsibility for Corporate Real Estate Portfolio clients and UK Tenant Representation. In 2017 Strutt & Parker was bought by BNP Paribas Real Estate and Daniel became Senior Director.
Daniel is an expert in advising tenants on property acquisitions and has a proven track record advising every kind of business, from start-ups to some of the world’s best known brands. He specialises in helping fast growth businesses transition from serviced offices into longer term accommodation in addition to helping more established businesses take the right strategic decisions on large occupational portfolios.
Alex brings a wealth of experience and understanding of both the property industry and how businesses operate. With 20 years’ experience as a real estate lawyer, she has worked internationally with Clifford Chance and for many years with firms in the City of London. Working in-house for a large and rapidly expanding property developer in London and the South East, Alex was responsible for the coordination and successful conclusion of large scale development transactions. Alex makes sure we run smoothly as a business and that we maintain robust compliance procedures. Her invaluable opinion and proactive guidance on the complex legal issues our clients face always helps us find solutions and pre-empt problems before they occur.
James qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016 and joined Metric RE following 4 years at BNP Paribas Real Estate where he gained experience in Corporate Real Estate and Tenant Representation and was also responsible for leading the flexible office team in London. He has advised large corporate organisations on flexible office deals and strategy and also fast growth technology businesses on the best office options to support future growth.
James is able to utilise his experience to advise clients across the spectrum of possible transactions available in the office market, whether that be on short term flexible space, managed transactions or long term conventional leases. He is particularly curious and passionate about technology and how this will continue to influence the real estate industry.
Tom joined Metric RE in July 2024 after 13 years at BNP Paribas Real Estate (previously Strutt & Parker LLP) where he was a Senior Director in the Corporate Occupier team leading framework and retained portfolio clients. Tom also personally looked after several corporate clients from varying commercial sectors and business backgrounds always taking a hands-on and proactive approach delivering on overall portfolio strategy and the successful execution of individual transactions.
Tom has a wealth of experience across the commercial sector taking the lead for clients on multi disciplined, complex transactions across leasehold and freehold properties. He has extensive expertise on 'Stay v Go' strategies, lease re-gears, renewals, flexible accommodation requirements and traditional acquisitions. He puts great emphasis on establishing and maintaining longstanding and trusted partnerships with clients.
Zoe joined Metric RE in 2021 following almost 6 years at Strutt & Parker where she gained a wide experience across property sales and lettings and held the position of Client Services Team Leader. Zoe is particularly focussed on key account management and client care.
She brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the business, and this extends to her leisure time which includes teaching musical theatre fitness classes and singing live in a band.
