Brief

Following a period of rapid growth, our client wanted to move from a serviced office to a leased, self-contained floor with private meeting rooms, kitchen, break out area and the ability to choose furniture and implement company branding. Remaining close to Farringdon station was important.

Journey

We carried out a search of the local area which produced over 100 results and a longlist of 25 suitable buildings in our report. The list was quickly narrowed down to 2 favoured options by co-ordinating viewings and analysing the cashflow differences. Both options were fitted with furniture, meeting rooms and cabling so limited capital expenditure was required by our client.

Result

Refurbished and fitted modern warehouse style offices at Link House, 78 Cowcross Street, was selected. The building is situated a short walk from Farringdon station and benefits from all the features our client wanted. We negotiated a substantial incentive package, ensured the repairing liability was limited as far as possible and stayed involved throughout the legal process to completion.
