We were instructed by MyTutor to find a flexible office that supported growth in Shoreditch. A key part of the brief was to find a space that reflected their key values and had an abundance of natural light to maximise the productivity and welfare of their employees. They wanted to partner with an operator that had a network of buildings across London and provided a range of amenities in the building.
We viewed several buildings around Old Street, Liverpool Street and Aldgate and quickly realised that only a few serviced office operators could provide space that matched the brief. The business was implementing a hybrid working policy so we had to be able to find a building that could offer more access passes than designated desks in the office. Availability of the office size required was low and there were several other firms interested in the few spaces that were available.
We successfully acquired a serviced office on Great Eastern Street with FORA on a flexible contract after negotiating against other interested parties. We structured the deal so that the business has the opportunity to scale-up easily within the FORA portfolio and employees have access to their vast network of space across London and the UK.
