To secure a new office (7-10,000 sq. ft. ideally on a single floor), fitting the future vision of the charity. Some initial preferences on location including close to the existing office on Bedford Square but open minded to consider good alternatives.
Limited options available in the preferred locations so options provided in alternative locations. A single floor preference re-evaluated and two floors considered to provide additional flexibility when compared to the configuration of many single floors. Government enforced lockdown happened just before lease completion resulting in a review of options and re-negotiation of terms.
Acquisition of newly refurbished Grade A space over 2 floors to be connected via a new internal staircase - 2nd & 3rd floors (9,966 Ft²) at 100 St John Street, Farringdon EC1. Detailed negotiations resulted in securing a significant rent free package and Covid 19 protection.
